My American Idol Tour Experience

July 18, 2008 was the best day of my life and I owe that all to David Archuleta.. ok so I get downtown around 10:30 am and so I'm standing there in the sun getting very impatient b/c I want to meet David so bad.. LOL! so I'm waiting and waiting and waiting and then we hear screaming so we think it's the tour buses cuz they told us to look for them... well it wasn't the tour buses but the guitar hero bus since they have a guitar hero battle so we're like oh darn and then at about a little before 2, the buses pull up and we all start freaking out and holding up our signs and everything and a lot of us almost got run over by one of the buses because we didn't move so the buses pull in and there's 4 of them, I believe and then the Idols all go underground so we can't see them and then they sent a guy down to find out if the Idols are going to come out and sign or not and they said they saw how big the crowd was and so they decided to come out... Cook comes out first and then Brooke and Ramielle and then Kristy Lee Cook and I hear really loud screaming so I think it's Archie but nope it turns out to be Jason but then we hear the screaming get ever louder a few minutes later so we know it's Archie so he starts way on the other side of where I am so I'm like s*** he may not come over here so I start screaming we love you Archie and he keeps looking at me and waving! He finally comes over a while later and I tell him my story about how I got down there that day and found out that there were tickets two rows off the floor on the side of the stage in section 102 so I paid 29 dollars and upgraded my tickets so that I could be close to him and it was amazing, let me tell you! Ok so during the show, I'm sitting in my seat the whole time and then Archie comes out and I freak out and stand up and don't sit down ever again.. I even stood for Cook! but right before Archie comes on we hear fireworks so we're like hmm wonder what's going on and then we realized that the Cardinals had won and that's why we heard the fireworks but all in all the show was amazing and I got Archie to reach down and hold my hand for a second or two during Stand by Me which was amazing and then I stayed after the show to meet them again since Carly didn't come out before the show and that was the only one that I was missing and I'm like in the middle and then Archuleta comes over a little while later and these girls get his signature and then go so I'm like sweet, I get to be right in the front and so I am and Archie's right in front of me and I'm telling him how much he freaked me out when he grabbed my hand during STM and wouldn't let go for a few seconds and I still wasn't okay from that and he looks at me, smiles and says aww really and I'm like yeah and I'm surprised I could even talk when he was right in front of me! Oh yeah and I have David Cook's broken sunglasses that are supposed to be my one of best friends cuz I told him that I was going to give them to her!
